Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets ACD Chief

Manama, July 14 (BNA): Foreign Ministry Undersecretary of for Political AffairsDr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met today through videoconference the Secretary General of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), Dr. Pornchai Danvivathana. During the meeting, the Undersecretary stressed Bahrain’s commitment to the ACD goals and principles aimed to promote friendship and cooperation with member States, in a way that would achieve the hopes and aspirations of Asian countries. He called for devoting collective efforts to address the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic, support sustainable development plans and establish solid and promising economic and technological partnerships. It is worth noting that ACD aims to promote interaction between Asian countries in many areas of cooperation, in addition to supporting ways to consolidate the foundations of peace and prosperity.
