Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets American Jewish Organizations delegation

New York, Oct.6 (BNA): Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met in New York City with the delegation of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, chaired by Dianne Lob. During the meeting, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah praised the role played by the relevant American organizations in supporting a culture of peace and creating a positive atmosphere to promote dialogue and understanding. He stressed Bahrain’s keenness to implement the Abraham Accords as an operational model for stability and prosperity, and rejecting extremism and fanaticism. He noted the close ties of alliance between Bahrain and the friendly United States, praising the active and unremitting American efforts to establish regional and global peace. For its part, the delegation praised the distinguished and pioneering positions taken by Bahrain to promote peace and religious freedom, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
