Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets diplomats

Manama, Nov.4 (BNA):Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met today the German and UK Ambassadors Kai Thamo Boeckmann, and Roderick Drummond, and the Representative of the French Embassy in Bahrain, Jean-Philippe Fabregas. The meeting was attended by the Director of European Affairs and European Union Directorate,Shaikha Aysha bint Ahmed Alkhalifa, and the Director of Organizations Directorate, AmbassadorFatema Aldhaen. During the meeting, the sides discussed developing areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, in addition to a number of topics and issues of common interest. Dr. Shaikh Abdulla expressed his pride in the historical friendship that Bahrain shares with Germany, UK and France, and its development in various areas. He also noted the efforts of Bahrain in establishing peace and stability in the region, and consolidating its external partnerships to benefit everyone. For their part, the Ambassadors and Embassy Representative hailed the advanced course of friendly relations between their countries and the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom further development.
