Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets senior US State Department officials

Washington, Oct.8 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, held meetings, at the headquarters of the US State Department, with the Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Ambassador Yael Lambert, and the Deputy US Envoy to Iran, Richard Nephew, Along with the Advisor to the US State Department, Drake Schulte. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, stressed the keenness of the Kingdom to maximize the solid partnership between both countries, noting the prominent role played by the US in bringing security and peace to the region and the world. US State Department officials valued the wise vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing their pride in the strong partnership that exists between both countries.
