Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets Japanese MP

Tokyo, Sept. 13 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met the Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs at the Japanese House of Representatives, Kiuchi Minoru. The two sides discussed cooperation and strategic partnership between the two sides in various fields. Dr. Al-Khalifa briefed the Japanese side on the Kingdom’s achievements in the fields of democracy and human rights. For his part, MP Kiuchi affirmed the Japanese parliament’s keenness to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides. He also wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
