Foreign Ministry Undersecretary receives outgoing Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for International Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received today at the Ministry’s General Court, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Afzal Mahmoud, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the kingdom. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah praised close cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, noting the efforts of the ambassador in strengthening relations between the two friendly countries, wishing him success in his future missions. For his part, the Pakistani ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to all officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support he has received during his tenure, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
