Foreign Ministry Undersecretary receives Philippine ambassador

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, received at the Ministry’s General Court today the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Alfonso A. Ver. Dr. Shaikha Rana praised close relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries and their perpetual growth in various fields, wishing the ambassador continued success. For his part, the Philippine ambassador hailed strong bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. Various issues of common concern were discussed during the meeting.
