Foreign Ministry welcomes peace deal in Somalia

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): The Ministry of the Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has welcomed the agreement between the Puntland and Galmudug regions in the Republic of Somalia, praising the great efforts exerted by the United Arab Emirates, which resulted in reaching this agreement as a major step to restore security and peace in Somalia. A statement by the Foreign Ministry said that “it affirms the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its solidarity with all efforts to resolve the crises facing Arab countries and enhance joint Arab action to overcome these challenges, as well as enhance prospects for our countries and people for security and stability, renewing its support for the Republic of Somalia in its efforts towards development and progress.”
