Former UN Undersecretary pays tribute to late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa

New York, Nov.12 (BNA): Former under-secretary-general of the United Nations and executive director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Anna Tibaijuk paid homage to late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, saying that he lived in service of others. She posted a tweet in which she mourned His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, expressing her immense sadness. Professor Tibajuka is recipient of the Khalifa bin Salman Award for Sustainable Development in September 2016. She is Former under-secretary-general of the United Nations and executive director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT). She is also a member of the International Day of Conscience Committee, International Day of Conscience Consultative Committee and Minister of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development in Tanzania.
