Forum sponsors' contribution hailed

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed that the support from sponsors has turned Khalid bin Hamad Award for Graduation Projects Forum, held under the slogan "Creating_Innovation", into a success. He lauded the significant role played by the companies sponsoring the forum, and stressed that this care had a profound impact on the success of the national event.
The Khalid bin Hamad Award for Graduation Projects Forum concluded last Thursday with the participation of 10 universities in Bahrain, and the award received sponsorship from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Economic Development Board, Bahrain International Circuit, Mercedes, Toyota, Nissan, KIA Motors, Microsoft, Jawad Group, Mega Mart, Flower for Roses and Adhari Park.
Shaikh Khalid stated that the student projects are outstanding confirming the ability of young Bahraini's to innovate and excel in all areas. He expressed pride in the youth's scientific competency, stressing continuous support to the youth, in line with the vision of the wise leadership led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He praised the organizational success of the forum which clearly contributed to achieving the main goals of the event.
He also pointed out that the sponsors' support reflects their care to Bahraini students, stressing contribution of the projects to achieving Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. He congratulated all the participants in the forum, especially the winners.
Shaikh Khalid said that all the participants are winners in this national scientific forum, noting that active participation is the most important thing.He awarded the winners as follows: In the category of information technology, Yacoub Al Murbati won first position under the supervision of Dr. Alaudeen Al Omari, Hessa Hamadan, Dua Murad and Haneed Murad won second position under supervision of Dr. Riyadh Al Hakeem and Rahma Saad Al Ruwaie won third position under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Fahad. The engineering category awards were given as follows: Hassan and Omar Al Deeb won first place under the supervision of Dr. Shaker Haji and Prof. Al Amin AL Kanzi, Aisha Hamad Al Ghatem won second position under the supervision of Dr. Hayat Abdulla and Dr. Zainab Mohammed and Ahmed Al Malah won third position under the supervision of Dr. Christina Georgantopoulou.
