Free car check service offered across the country during New Year

BANGKOK, Dec 28 (TNA) – The Ministry of Labour holds a road safety campaign during the travel period of the New Year holiday, offering free car check service at 77 locations nationwide. The service will be offered from Dec 29, 2017 to Jan 4, 2018. Labour Minister Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew presided over the opening of the project at the PTT gas station on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road today. He said the Department of Skills Development will deploy mobile teams of mechanics to 77 spots on main roads, secondary roads and service points, designated by the provinces to offer free car check for travellers. The Director-General of the Department of Skills Development, Suthi Sukosol said the service will include checking the oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, electricity system, lights and signals, tires’ air pressure and other necessary parts for the safety travel. Mechanic trainers will be stationed at all locations. Travel information, snack and beverage will be offered at each service points. (TNA)
