Almaty, October 16, 2009 (Khabar) - With the support of the first president’s fund, Almaty has witnessed a “Fun starts” relay race. The panel of judges involved Olympic champions and the pride of Kazakhstan sport, Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov and Olga Shishigina.
Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov, Olympic champion:
- Such small contests are giving birth to big victories. We came to support children, who will probably win Olympic medals. One of the most important conditions for this is to be able to see the goal.
Olga Shishigina, Olympic champion:
- This relay race reminds me of my childhood. These contests give you a lot of adrenalin.
The three legged race is one of the most difficult contests.
