GCC medical committee convenes in Bahrain

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA): The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) committee in charge of expatriates’ medical examination held its 19th regular meeting at the Elite Hotel and Spa in Bahrain. Health Ministry Medical Committees director Dr. Aisha Hussein chaired the session, on behalf of Public Health director Dr. Mariam Al-Hajeri. Dr. Hussein welcomed the delegations and conveyed to them greetings from Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh. The delegations discussed ways of toughening the penalties relating to the expatriates’ examination programme, studied the Kuwaiti practice and the possibility of increasing medical fees.
