GCC Secretary General, New Zealand's Trade and Export Growth Minister Discuss Ways to Enhance GCC-New Zealand Economic, Investment Relations

Riyadh, March 10, 2022, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf, have discussed ways to enhance economic and investment relations between the GCC and New Zealand, to serve common interests. This came during a meeting here with New Zealand's Minister for Trade and Export Growth Damien O'Connor. During the meeting, they discussed the joint action plan between GCC countries and New Zealand to provide a strong platform for export growth, investment opportunities, consolidate economic relations between GCC and New Zealand, and emphasized the importance of making efforts to enhance trade relations and trade exchange between the two parties. They also discussed the course of work of the technical teams concerned with free trade negotiations, and emphasized the importance of pushing forward and completing the free trade negotiations to serve common interests. --SPA
