GCC Secretary General visits NCM

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani paid a visit today to the National Charter Monument (NCM), accompanied by officials from the GCC Secretariat General, marking the kingdom’s national celebrations and Bahrain’s hosting of the 37th GCC Summit. He was welcomed by the monument’s Director Khawla Al Mohannadi. The GCC Secretary General toured the monument and got informed about its content which depicts Bahrain’s civilisation, history and development march. He also listened to a detailed account by the monument’s Director on the monument’s programmes and services. The GCC Secretary General praised the National Charter Monument which symbolises dedication and loyalty of the Bahraini people as well as their contribution and support to the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
