General plan for Almaty region residential sites

Almaty, 25 October 2008, (Khabar) - Australia is interested in development
plans for Kazakhstan's cities and has started to develop a project of
residential areas around Almaty. On of the architects who was involved in
the project, Maksim Bashimov was born in Kazakhstan. He revealed several
secrets about the most enormous town planning project in the CIS.
The development of the plan for four residential areas in the Almaty region
is about to be finished. The plan forecasts the establishment of such cities
as Gate city which will be situated at Kapshagai and to be constructed as
the international business centre, Golden city which will become a cultural,
entertainment and educational centre, Growing city which will become a place
for small and medium sized businesses and the forth city will become a pearl
of all four cities.

Maksim Bashimov, regional manager of "KannFinchGroup" company:
- This town will be established at the Kapshagai water reservoir and it is
planned that it will be the centre of both local and international tourism.
One of the main characteristics of the city was the integration of a race
track which was oriented to Formula One as we expected to organize Formula
One races.
