German tourists arrive in Turkish Cypriot state by a charter flight
LEFKOSA (A.A) - 15.04.2011 - A total of 162 tourists arrive in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on Friday by the first charter flight operated within the framework of new tourism incentive system.
Northern Travel company arranged a charter flight for 162 German tourists who wanted to spend their one-week holiday in TRNC.
"We aim to bring 30,000-40,000 tourists from 13 destinations by charter flights this year," TRNC Tourism, Culture & Environment Minister Unal Ustel said at TRNC's Ercan Airport.
A Turkish Cypriot tourism company, Northern Travel is in its third year and has organized trips to and from Italy, UK and Germany.
