Government Forum a platform to continue achieving visions, plans

Manama, Oct. 26 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry’s Undersecretary for Agriculture and Marine Resources, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Khalifa, has asserted that the Government Forum 2018, due to be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, is an important platform to to continue achieving the citizen-oriented visions and plans through concerted efforts by all government departments, and in accordance with the Economic Vision of Bahrain, 2030. Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed said that the ultimate goal of the Government Forum’s themes and initiatives is to increase and enhance the quality of services delivered by the government to the citizens, and work as a national team to achieve the goals of the coming period, noting that this year’s Government Forum coincides with the launch of the Fiscal Balance Programme which includes important initiatives. The undersecretary pointed out that the outstanding success of the previous government forums has contributed to enhancing coordination and cooperation among government departments. This year’s Government Forum will kick off on Sunday, and will bring together all public sector institutions. It will review the achievements of ministries and government departments.
