Government's efforts to maintain service, living standards stressed

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa pointed out the effective development programs and plans set up by the GCC leaders aimed at maintaining the successful service and living standards provided for the people of the Gulf, which has been targeted by some schemes aimed at undermining the Gulf's stability and shifting the leaders' focus away from the development march. He underlined the significance of collective action, consultation and coordination in countering the regional security and economic developments. This came as HRH Prime Minister today received Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, a number of members of Shura and Representatives councils and government officials. HRH Prime Minister said that the joint action between the constitutional authorities has been successful in attaining achievements recognized by specialized world organisations that honoured Bahrain for. He called for prioritizing the national interest and concerted national efforts to bring more development successes and warding off risks aimed at damaging the cohesion of the society. HRH Prime Minister noted the government's efforts in overcoming the regional security and economic development to continue the development of service and living standards of the citizens. HRH Premier stressed the government's keenness on boosting cooperation between the constitutional authorities to promote the national action march, highlighting the legislative role in supporting the development programmes witnessed by various field. He called for unifying efforts and intensifying coordination to bring further national gains, progress and prosperity.
