Government's open policy should be adapted more effectively'

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that the government gives great importance to the economy and commerce and strives constantly to create a positive environment and conditions that encourage companies and facilitate their operations.
HRH Premier also highlighted the government's keenness to provide more incentives and facilities for businessmen and investors to encourage them to play their role in revitalising the national economy, noting that the government's open economic and trade policy should be adapted more effectively to serve various development goals.
Receiving state officials and businessmen at the Gudaibiya Palace, HRH the Prime Minister asserted the government's interest in listening to the opinions expressed about issues related to the citizens, trade or economy and keenness to remove any obstacles that may impede development for the sake of the nation and the citizens.
The Prime Minister highlighted the government's interest in consulting and coordinating with the relevant parties while taking any decision out of its belief in the importance of partnership, being an effective means to achieve the forecast goals, meet the requirements of comprehensive development and boost the national economy.
HRH Premier paid tribute to journalists, reporters and columnists for their keenness to extend bridges of communication among the members of society and consolidate noble goals that cement national unity and cohesion.
He also hailed the role of the Press and the media in projecting to the world Bahrain's genuine image and the progress boom it is witnessing in various fields.
Tackling international issues, HRH Premier affirmed that the initiatives led by the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have contributed to achieving balance and stability in the region.
