Grand Mufti, Head of Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia receives Bahraini Ambassador to Moscow

Moscow, July 14 (BNA): Shaykh Al-Islam, Grand Mufti, Chairman of the Central spiritual administration of Muslims of Russia, His Eminence Talgat Safa Tajuddin, received today in his office the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati. During the meeting, the Grand Mufti expressed his sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on receiving the honorary doctorate from Moscow State University for International Relations in appreciation of HM the King’s noble role in promoting peaceful co-existence, and dialogue among various religions and cultures. He also lauded the noble role played by HM the King in establishing and spreading the values of peaceful coexistence between religions and cultures, which made the Kingdom of Bahrain a role model in this approach that contributes to promoting peace, stability and prosperity for countries and people of the region and the world in general. For his part, the Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Eminence, Mufti Shaikh Talgat Safa Tajuddin, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to develop cooperation between the Central Muslim Spiritual Board of Russia, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Bahrain and the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
