Greece: Bahrain, Israel agreement to consolidate peace, stability

Athens, Sept. 13 (BNA): Greece has welcomed the agreement establishing diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Israel. This development constitutes a very important step towards consolidating peace and stability in the region, the Greek Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “In this context, we recognize the decisive role played by the USA and its assistance in achieving this goal. We underscore the need to find a comprehensive, two-state, solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, based on international law and the Resolutions of the UN Security Council,” the statement said.
