Gulf Air supports Bahraini students abroad

Manama, Mar. 30. (BNA) -- Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced its cooperation with the Cultural Attaché office in The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London, through the launch of a package of tailored initiatives for Bahraini students abroad, and the airline’s upcoming sponsorship of a student graduation ceremony that will be held by the Embassy of Bahrain in May. The airline’s package includes sponsorship of student events organized by the Bahrain Cultural Counsellor Mr. Soubah Abdulrahman Al Zayani, special fares and a host of other offers and initiatives that will be rolled out in the coming months. Commenting on the cooperation between Gulf Air and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London, Bahrain Cultural Counsellor Mr. Soubah Abdulrahman Al Zayani said, "This cooperation reflects our goal of enhancing the services offered to Bahraini students and is realized through cooperation with national companies such as our national carrier –who has expressed much enthusiasm in this regard. We hope other Bahraini organizations will follow Gulf Air’s lead in providing support and sponsorship for future projects." Gulf Air Country Manager for United Kingdom Mr. Rashid Al Gaoud said, "As the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier we aim to support Bahraini nationals living, studying or working abroad, throughout our network, and I look forward to announcing the various details of our national carrier’s support to Bahraini students in the United Kingdom in the near future." Gulf Air has had a strong presence in the United Kingdom since its first flight to London in 1970, and currently operates double daily flights.
