Gulf Air suspends flights to Pakistan due to airspace closure

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): Gulf Air announced that all flights to and from Pakistan are suspended with immediate effect due to the closure of Pakistani airspace. The airline has advised all passengers to contact Gulf Air’s Worldwide Contact Centre on 00973 17373737 before proceeding to the airport. On February 27, flights to and from Lahore, Multan and Islamabad are cancelled and all passengers will be transferred to next available flights when the airspace is open again, Gulf Air said. The airline will reassess the situation at 3pm Bahrain time (12pm GMT) and will update passengers regarding flights operating on February 28.
