Hard-working employees to be honoured

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): The Labour and Social Development Ministry is set to organise the 34th ceremony to honour hard-working employees and outstanding establishments in the private sector. The celebration will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on December 12. The Labour and Social Development Ministry has completed all preparations for the ceremony which will coincide with the kingdom’s celebrations of the national days marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 47th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 19th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne. Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan extended congratulations to all workers and establishments which were chosen to be honoured this year, pointing out that the royal patronage of the event reflects HM the King’s care and support to hard-working labourers in the private sector so as to encourage them to continue the kingdom’s development march.
