Head of Republic of Bashkortostan receives Foreign Minister

Moscow, June 3 (BNA): The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, today received the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, currently on a visit to the Russian Federation to participate in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Khabirov welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressing his appreciation for the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation and the development of ties in various fields. He stressed the importance of exchanging visits between officials of the two countries to enhance friendship and cooperation. He entrusted the Minister of Foreign Affairs with conveying his greetings to His Majesty the King and His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further development and growth. For his part, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani expressed happiness over his visit to the Russian Federation to participate in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. He praised the depth of the distinguished friendship and bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, stressing the interest and keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen the ever-growing bilateral relations at all levels. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Moscow, Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Saati, Director General of the Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, Talal Abdul Salam Al Ansari, and a number of the ministry’s officials.
