Health Minister honors F1 medical teams, lauds their amazing performance

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Health Minister Faiqa bint Saeed Al Saleh has praised the efforts of the medical teams that participated in the Formula 1 races in Bahrain. "I stand today among a brilliant team that has built a great international reputation and has made Bahrain the first medical training center in the Middle East since 2014, prompting other countries to request the assistance of the Bahraini medical team in training other medical teams," the minister said in her remarks. The virtual meeting brought together senior officials of the Ministry of Health, the representatives of the Bahrain Automobile Federation and the Bahrain International Circuit and the members of the medical teams, "the Heroes of the Circuit". The minister congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the success of the Formula 1 races. She emphasized HM the King's unlimited support to the health workers in Bahrain and expressed her pride in the "amazing performance" of all medical teams despite the exceptional circumstances caused by COVID-19.
