Health Minister meets Jordanian counterpart

Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): Health Minister, Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, has stressed the importance of bolstering the Bahraini-Jordanian health cooperation at all levels, thanks to the depth of the long-standing relations between the two brotherly countries. While meeting her Jordanian counterpart, Dr. Feras Al-Hawari, the minister affirmed the importance of bilateral visits in strengthening joint cooperation and exchanging expertise, which would contribute to broadening joint coordination for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. The two ministers reviewed areas of cooperation and joint programmes between the two countries, in addition to regional and global health issues of mutual interest. Minister Al-Hawari lauded the progress made by Bahrain's health sector, citing quality services, as well as the distinguished capabilities and the medical and nursing competencies. He expressed his country's readiness to enhance its cooperation with Bahrain across various health fields to achieve common goals.
