Health Minister receives Bahrain's Ambassador to UK

Manama, Dec. 30 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa Saeed Al Saleh received Ambassador of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and praised the embassy’s efforts in boosting the Bahrain-UK longstanding friendship ties, wishing the ambassador success in bolstering the bilateral ties between the two friendly countries in various fields. Al Saleh thanked the ambassador for his diligence to discuss topics pertaining to medical treatment abroad in the interest of Bahraini citizens. She praised the embassy’s efforts in supporting the Bahraini patients who follow up medical treatment in the United Kingdom. They discussed important matters to activate the communication, cooperation and coordination in the health fields between the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Embassy in the United Kingdom, regarding the procedures and follow up of various topics to smoothen patients' medical treatment abroad until their return safe and sound. They also discussed available means to attract British medical expertise and training. MoH’s Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea, was also present during the meeting.
