Health Minister receives Iraqi Chargé d'Affairs

Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): Health Minister Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan received today Iraqi Embassy Chargé d'Affairs Moayyed Omar Koberli and discussed joint cooperation, particularly in the fields of training, research and exchanging expertise. Dr. Hasan highlighted solid bilateral relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, and stressed the importance of expanding joint cooperation. She wished the Iraqi envoy success in assuming his diplomatic duties to further support joint cooperation in all development fields, especially the health sector. The Iraqi diplomat also stressed his country’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations and expand joint cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially investment in the health sector.
