Health minister receives Malaysian ambassador

Manama, Dec. 5 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh on Monday received Malaysian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ahmad Shahizan Abdulsamad. The minister praised the ambassador's efforts in boosting the bilateral ties, citing the advanced level of these ties in all fields especially the cooperation in the areas of health and education, wishing the outgoing ambassador success in the duties of his next assignment. The minister also praised the amicable reception and hospitality she was accorded when she received recently an honorary doctorate (PhD) in medical education from Cyberjaya University's College of Medical Sciences in Malaysia during the university's seventh anniversary celebrations. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the Kingdom's leadership, government and people, commending the economic growth and development achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain thanks to the reforms of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, noting Bahrain's prestigious position and huge regional and international role,and wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity in all sectors.
