Health Minister receives RHF Secretary General

Manama, May 6 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh received Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, the efforts coordinator in the national campaign “Feena Khair”, who presented her with 10,000 high quality, re-usable face masks that were produced by RHF in cooperation with the productive families affiliated with it. Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed conveyed the greetings of Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and RHF Board of Trustees Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to all Health Ministry affiliates for their heroic role and immense efforts in the frontline in the war against coronavirus pandemic. Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed affirmed ongoing cooperation with the Health Ministry in producing the required quantities of face masks for the medical and nursing crew to protect them from the virus and for the people and patient in the isolation and quarantine centres. He praised cooperation of productive families in preparing the high quantities of face masks in a record time in order to contribute to the national efforts to handle the pandemic. The RHF Secretary General outlined the goals of “Feena Khair” campaign and the success it has achieved since its launch to back the national efforts to combat coronavirus (COVID-19) that are spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He added, the campaign, being conducted, in line with the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, presented an outstanding model of social solidarity for the sake of the nation to preserve the health and safety of all. Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed also reviewed the missions assigned with the committee in charge of the national campaign, the parties benefiting from the campaign and the work mechanism between RHF and the Health Ministry to achieve its goals. The Health Minister praised the campaign and its success which reflected unity of the Bahraini people and their loyalty to HM the King and the nation. She also commended the efforts of RHF, under the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, pointing out the pioneering projects carried out by the foundation during the crisis.
