Health undersecretary receives ACI director general

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Waleed bin Khalifa Al Manea received Airports Council International (ACI) Director General - Asia-Pacific Stefano Baronci and Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) CEO Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah. The undersecretary praised BAC's efforts especially during the Coronavirus pandemic. The ACI director general briefed them on the aviation industry's recovery during the coronavirus pandemic and the efforts made by aviation stakeholders around the world. BAC's CEO affirmed Bahrain International Airport (BIA)'s commitment to implement safety measures according to the highest international standards to combat the coronavirus and maintain the safety of travelers and employees. Following the directives of the Civil Aviation Affairs at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, and in support of the preventive measures recommended by the Health Ministry. Dr. Al Manea thanked BAC for its role which contributes to the speedy recovery and supports the efforts The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
