HEC receives Philippine ambassador chargé d'affaires

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): Secretary General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa received the Philippine Chargé d'Affaires Anne Jalando-on Louis. Shaikha Rana stressed the depth of the historical relations between Bahrain and the Philippines in various fields, and their steady growth. The meeting stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in higher education. The Chargé d'Affairs commended the efforts by the Council to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
