HEC Secretary General receives Cambridge Assessment delegation

Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): Secretary General and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council (HEC) Shaikha Dr. Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met with Head of Professional Development Programmes at Cambridge Assessment International Education Sarah Turner. Shaikha Rana was briefed on the cooperation between the Cambridge Foundation and the Arab Open University, through the Cambridge professional development programs for teachers in Bahrain and ways to enhance it to develop academic staff and the professional capabilities of teachers and professors. HEC secretary general said that the council is keen to deepen partnerships with all educational and training institutions from around the world. Turner appreciated the keenness of the HEC secretary general to deepen cooperation between the institution and the HEC to achieve shared interests.
