HEC Secretary-General reviews cooperation with UPEACE

Manama, Aug. 10 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and the Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees Shaikha Dr. Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa received Dr. David Fernandez Puyana, Ambassador and Permanent Observer of United Nations University for Peace (UPEACE) to the United Nations and UNESCO. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation, where the ambassador presented opportunities for coordination in the fields of interest to the university to serve higher education institutions in Bahrain. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the efforts of Dr. Shaikha Rana in supporting higher education institutions to enable them to perform their educational and scientific missions and to advance the process of higher education in the Kingdom.
