HEC Secretary-General stresses promoting Bahrain-UK relations in education

London, May 25 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and Vice-Chairperson of Board of its Trustees Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met UK Minister for International Trade Ranil Jayawardena and UK Minister for Skills Alex Burghart. Dr. Shaikha Rana praised the friendship between Bahrain and the UK and the continuous progress of cooperation in various fields in support of the common interests of the two countries and peoples. She affirmed HEC's aspirations to strengthen cooperation with its counterpart. The UK ministers expressed their appreciation of the Bahraini-UK friendship and highlighted HEC Secretary-General's efforts in developing higher education in Bahrain.
