HH Deputy Premier opens 3rd FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today opened the 3rd FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving hosted by Bahrain on 25-28. Gravity Indoor Skydiving, in collaboration with Bahrain Air Sport Federation, organizes the event in the presence of Representative to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Chairman of the High Committee of the Competition, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa. HH the Deputy Premier, in a statement, stressed that Bahrain's success in hosting the world championship is another achievement made by Bahrain in the field of sports, while it reflects the confidence of the international sports federations in Bahrain's organizational capabilities of international forums and activities. He highlighted the government’s support, led by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, for the sport sector and providing the national athletes with the necessary tools to bring more achievements in sport forums and competitions. He commended the High Committee’s operational effort to secure the success of the international event that accentuates Bahrain’s regional and international standing. He also hailed the national aptitudes in various fields.
