HH Deputy Prime Minister pays homage to late Kuwaiti Amiri, recalls his outstanding status

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, has praised the virtues of the late Kuwaiti Amir His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. “Our hearts are filled with sorrow over the loss of a wise leader and a man of peace,” HH Shaikh Mohammed said in a statement. “I have lost a dear brother and a great companion from whom I learned a lot about possessing good qualities, spreading love among people and doing good deeds.” HH Shaikh Sabah was known and will always be known for his great achievements and humanitarian deeds, he added. Kuwait, the Gulf family, the Arab and Islamic nations, and the world have lost an outstanding leader who worked for the wellbeing of his nation and people, for the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council and for supporting ways to resolve disputes in the Arab and Islamic arenas. He endured much hardship to achieve lofty and noble goals in order to achieve security and stability among countries and peoples, HH Shaikh Mohammed said. The Deputy Premier expressed deepest condolence to Kuwait Amir His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, their family and Kuwaiti people, praying to Allah Almighty to bless the deceased with mercy and to rest his soul in peace.
