HH National Security Advisor receives UK House of Lords' delegation

Manama, Oct. 10 (BNA): National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received here today a delegation from the International Relations and Defence Committee, at the UK House of Lords, led by Baroness Anelay of St Johns. HH the National Security Advisor welcomed the House of Lords' delegation, and reviewed with them the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries, praising the long-standing Bahraini-British relations. HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed the depth of the steadily-growing effective Bahrain-UK partnership, highlighting the two friendly countries' commitment to consolidating security and peace in the region, as well as achieving their common interests. The two sides also discussed the latest regional and global developments of mutual concern. UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Roddy Drummond, accompanied the UK House of Lords' delegation.
