HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa receives Iraqi Foreign Minister

Manama, Nov. 14 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, in the presence of Advisor to HRH Premier, HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the grandsons of the late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, today received the Iraqi Foreign Affairs Minister, Fuad Hussain, at the Al-Sakhir Air Base. Fuad Hussain is on a visit to the kingdom, along with an official Iraqi delegation, to offer condolences over the passing of HRH Prince Khalifa. Foreign Minister Fuad Hussain conveyed the condolences and consolation of Iraqi President, Barham Salih, Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, and the Iraqi people following the demise of HRH Prince Khalifa, may Allah the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace. Fuad Hussain lauded the late HRH Prince Khalifa’s wisdom in dealing with various regional and global issues, as well as his achievements and contributions to the kingdom’s development and progress. HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa expressed thanks to President Barham Salih, Prime Minister Al-Kadhimi, the official delegation and the brotherly Iraqi people for their sincere condolences and noble feelings, wishing further progress and prosperity to Iraq and its people. The Iraqi delegation also included Minister of Planning, Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, Interior Minister, Othman Al-Ghanmi, Minister of Culture, Dr. Hassan Nadhem, and Mohammed Noori Ahmed, the representative of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Speaker.
