HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad casts his vote

Manama, Nov 24 (BNA); HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Athletics Association, cast his vote on Saturday in the parliamentary and municipal elections in the general polling centre at the University of Bahrain. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the success of the 2018 elections. HH Shaikh Khalid underlined that the Kingdom of Bahrain witnessed a unique election day that embodies the aims and goals of Bahrain's reform programme which has been launched by HM the King. HH Shaikh Khalid stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain has become an urban model for the democratic movement at the international level via the activation of the political life which has cemented the principles of freedom and partnership, thanks to which the Bahrainis have turned out in numbers to participate in the elections and choose their representatives in the parliament and the municipal councils. Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid praised the public awareness of the Bahrainis, expressing his confidence that the Kingdom will have a bright future.
