HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad hails honourable Jiu Jitsu achievement

Manama, Nov.10 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman, Head of General Sports Authority (GSA) and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the victory of athlete Ali Munfaridi who won the gold medal in the World Jiu Jitsu championship, being held in Abu Dhabi, the UAE. He also congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman. Munfaridi bagged the gold medal in the 77 Kilos weight category in the World Championship, organized by the International Jiu Jitsu Federation (JJIF) in in the Jiu Jitsu Arana in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi, the UAE. The World Jiu Jitsu Championship will conclude on Friday, November 12. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa also congratulated Bahrain Jiu Jitsu Federation Chairman Mp Ridha Munfaridi and all affiliates of the federation on this honourable achievement.
