HH Shaikh Khalid lauds NBB support for quiz program

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has presented its sponsorship of the television quiz program (Q&A) organized by the Media Office of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. The program, an initiative by HH Shaikh Khalid to support the cultural and social fields, is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Information on December 5-16. HH Shaikh Khalid valued the backing of companies and banks for the initiatives and praised the NBB support and efforts that contribute to the success of the program. The NBB has regularly asserted its distinguished contributions to supporting various events, which reflects its keenness to invigorate community partnership, he added. Hisham Abu Alfateh, Head of Corporate Communications at the NBB, expressed his great pride in the participation of the bank in supporting the program as one of the outstanding initiatives launched by HH Shaikh Khalid in support of the Bahraini society. The program will help promote culture and knowledge, support family relations and ties and reinforce the principle of fraternity and social cohesion between participating families, he added. HH Shaikh Khalid's directives to dedicate the program to the families of people of determination confirm his steady keenness to support them and to enhance their integration within the Bahraini society. Abu Alfateh added that the NBB was keen to confirm its strong participation by providing support for humanitarian programs included in HH Shaikh Khalid's initiatives that reinforce the noble goals that he wants to strengthen within the community.
