HH Shaikh Khalid receives BDF contingent

Manama, Sept.30 (BNA): Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today received, at Isa Airbase, servicemen affiliated with Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Taskforce taking part in the Operation Restore Hope in Yemen, under the Saudi-led Arab Military Alliance. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa welcomed the BDF contingent and hailed their strenuous efforts and dedication in performing their sacred national duties under the Saudi-led Arab Military Alliance in support of legitimacy in Yemen. The Royal Guard Special Force Commander hailed their noble sacrifices, bravery and courage in performing their national duties to restore legitimacy in Yemen. He handed over the medals which were conferred by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, on a batch of BDF officers, non-commissioned officers and servicemen, in recognition of their dedicated patriotic duties, fraternal role in supporting legitimacy, high morale, professionalism and discipline. The ceremony was attended by senior BDF officers and the families of the servicemen who are taking part in the taskforce.
