HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman attends ceremony recognising accomplishments of Bahraini women

Manama, Mar. 20(BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Bayan School’s Board of Trustees, in coordination with Al-Khalidiya Youth Society, today held a ceremony at Bahrain Bayan School celebrating the accomplishments of remarkable Bahraini women. During the ceremony, HH Shaikh Mohammed noted that women’s advancement is a vital component of Bahrain’s ongoing development efforts led by HM the King. HH Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the important role the Supreme Council of Women (SCW), led by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW, plays in supporting women’s advancement at all levels. The Chairman of the Bahrain Bayan School, HE Dr. Shaikha May bint Sulaiman Al Otaibi, thanked HH Shaikh Mohammed for patronizing the event which recognizes Bahraini women’s accomplishments across all sectors, and extended her congratulations to all women on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The President of Bahrain’s Journalists Association, Ahdeya Ahmed Al Sayed, highlighted the Kingdom’s achievements in promoting women’s full participation in all aspects of development, noting that Bahrain has been pioneering women advancement at all levels.
