HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad hails successful sporting events

Manama, Dec.6(BNA): His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa hailed the successful organisation of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and the Formula 1 Rolex Sakhir Grand Prix. He paid tribute to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for his tremendous support, contributing to the success of the global sporting events which were held at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC). He lauded the pivotal role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as his close follow-up ever since the event was first hosted in Bahrain, which contributed to instilling the culture of motorsports in the Kingdom and the Middle East. “The hosting of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and the Formula 1 Rolex Sakhir Grand Prix have contributed to the consolidation of the Kingdom’s gains and standing as a home of motorsport in the Middle East”, he said. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa praised the efforts exerted by BIC board and members who worked with the one-team spirt with all public and private bodies to ensure the success of the global sporting events.
