HH Shaikh Nasser receives more congratulatory cables on royal honour

Manama, July 8 (BNA): HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council (SDC) and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has received more congratulatory cables marking the issuance of an order by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, appointing him as SDC Secretary-General.i HH Shaikh Nasser expressed appreciation for all well-wishers, and pride in their cables and letters that showcased their sincere feelings on his appointment by HM the King to the prestigious post, stressing that he will spare no effort in order to enhance the national banners, under the leadership of HM the King. Those who sent congratulatory cables affirmed that the precious royal trust bestowed upon HH Shaikh Nasser reflects his key role and tremendous efforts to serve the nation and the citizens.
