High state awards for Almaty residents

Almaty, December 22, 2009 (Khabar) - In Almaty, the Secretary of State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has handed state awards for great contribution to the development of the Republic to a group of figures of culture, education, health, representatives of the production sphere. These people contributed with their work and creativity into the development and prosperity of the country. Order Barys of 3 degree has been awarded to the Professor of the Kazakh National University Sultan Sartayev. Award Parasat is given to actress Farida Sharipova and artist Uke Azhiyev. The writer Anatoly Kim is marked with Order Dostyk of 2nd degree. Hafiz Yesimov, director of the Abai Opera and Ballet filmmakers Yermek Shinarbaev and Bulat Kalymbetov, architect Vladimir Katsev are awarded with Order Kurmet. Assel Mambetova, actress of Murepov Theater for children and youth became the owner title Honored figure of Republic of Kazakhstan. Totally 20 Almaty residents have received awards.

Assel Mambetova, actress of Mesrepov Academic Theater:
- I have been working in the arts for nearly 30 years and for 25 years - in theater. I want to thank of course the head of state, the leadership of the theater, its staff, its partners, because they supported me and brought to such a high title of Honored figure.
