Higher Education Secretary-General meets Omani Higher Education Minister

Muscat, Oct. 26 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Higher Education Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa met Minister for Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrooqi, during her visit to Oman. The minister stressed her keenness to extend cooperation with the Higher Education Council in the Kingdom. The secretary-general stressed that her visit reflects the strength and well-established relations between the two countries, and the continuation of joint work in everything that serves their interests for the benefit of both countries, stressing the importance of exchanging scientific and research experiences between higher education institutions. Dr. Shaikha Rana and the accompanying delegation were briefed on Oman’s experience in the system of the Unified Admission Center and its role and mechanism of work in accepting students in various higher education institutions. Omani Unified Admission Center Director General Dr. Hamad bin Khalfan Al Noamani expressed his appreciation to the secretary-general for her keenness on cooperation and her great efforts in developing higher education institutions in Bahrain.
